  1. All this talk of a second peak, i looked at google earth. looks like 500 feet of pretty open vert at the top? could be fun if it would ever snow for real again.
  2. cool man. but research subsidies and learn how life works. also feel free to install a program on your phone that some kid made in his basement because thats super secure.
  3. 600 for phone, since a new one at retail with applecare would be 850, and 900 for mac
  4. switching to another carrier so i have an ATT iphone 5, 32gb with applecare+ until sept 2014. And i have a mint condition macbook air i bought in june to finish school with. I am done, and never use it. 13" 8gb ram, 128gb ssd.
  5. Went last week. Basically just straight trails with all the same pitch but labeled with different difficulties. No park to speak of. Bottom part of two trails have a really steep headwall, but im not sure if its actually steep or just significantly steeper than the rest. lifts are old and make strange noises and the lodge is a dump.
  6. i dont know about checking online but a call to blue will work. i also have a receipt with balance.
  7. Title basically says it. I have a gift card with 42 dollars on it. I won't be making it back to blue, so if anyone wants to save a little money ill sell to them for 30.
  8. So, yeah I went to sno today. It was fun. Sno is 2hrs 33min from my house in south jersey (basically Philly), and as a comparison, blue is 1hr 55min, shawnee is 2hrs 25min, and camelback is 2hrs 30min. So why does this matter? Because people from philly mob the fuck out of all of those places besides sno, and its mostly likely because they dont know it exists. I saw ONE billboard for sno, on 81, and it was for sno cove and not the ski resort. Sno is not on the blue attraction signs before the exit, or anywhere else for that matter. color me suprised as I could not park right by the northface lift because there were actually people in the lot at around 9. A steady stream of cars followed behind. The crowd for the day seemed like a healthy weekday crowd anywhere else, and im sure it would have been better if people knew about it. I love the location of sno, lots to do aftwerwards. Its neat how the mountain towers over all the shopping and restaurants. The riding was awesome. Their park fucking sucks though, the new guy must of fled, its worse than last years. Not having a top to bottom lift sucks, they really need to figure out a way to open top to bottom at the start. The conditions were amazing on northface. I stayed there all day, and personally i think those trails are the most fun in PA. I think i saw KC EVERWHERE on the mountain today engaging guests. Advertise your awesome mountain dumbasses, and people will show the fuck up and give you money. When i talk about sno around me, people have no idea its there or that even montage was ever there. Ive been spreading the gospel of 10 dollar tuesdays and people think its rad. Team up with a philly radio station. an MMR day type event would kill it. goodnight.
  9. never been. I plan on getting to the knob this year if the stars align and Im off from work and it snows.
  10. Someone correct me if i am wrong, and praise me if i am right. Businesses like ski resorts have an part of their budget allocated strictly for operations, separate from what is allocated for debt payments. Or possibly someone was interested in a sale but didn't want the hill closed this year...bad press for when they reopen next season.
  11. If anyone buys sno, I hope they have the foresight to actually engage in a little something called marketing.
  12. paper is right.
  13. I thought they stopped selling that one back in october? is it an only in-person deal?

Elk is too far of a trek for a mountain that isn't well rounded. I wouldn't pass sno to get there.
  15. I doubt peak would buy. That would make three hills in close proximity. I am partial to sno, I learned to ski and to ride there when i was young and as much as id like to see it stick around, it might be time to throw in the towel. I was there last year and the hill was empty and the top to bottom lift wasn't running midweek which is ridiculous.
  16. The people I know complaining about power have newborns.
  17. Stuck working in the hood.
  18. Killington only opening for passholders is a great idea. Keeps traffic down and makes up for the past few years.
  19. Yeah. sojourn double i think. Southern sojourn is actually a trail that they were supposed to regrade. no idea what ever came of that.
  20. Nothing. Everytime i go to shawnee, snow is on point and the parks are super fun.
  21. They replaced the southern sojourn.
  22. I really wish a larger company in the industry would take over sno. The place has potential, and i am selfish and want it to be around forever.
  23. Dude you should get spansered.
  24. Clear out the glades on the far side of the mountain. I posted a photo a while back, the spacing is already there. Better park.
  25. I was so impressed with my visit this season that i am contemplating a season pass next year. The mountain has so much potential, and with some investment could become the best in the area IMO. The only thing holding me back is the park, which needed a ton of work. Add some more park trails, and make them on par with the other hills in the area, and i can guarantee at least 5 pass holders next year with myself and friends.
