  1. elks terrain is really fun. some really long and interesting trails, but for me to get a season pass there, they need to open up some woods. i know its beating a dead horse, but seriously. if they get so much more snow than other PA resorts, show that off and open some damn woods.
  2. i think the difficulty of getting expansions approved are holding some back, as well as the cost of additional snowmaking. also, where to expand may be an issue. bear creek, for example, does not have anywhere to expand to, and i think the same could be said for boulder. Frost looks like they have a bit of room for some really steep stuff past east mountain, but not much before it levels out. elk being a single peak, i do not really see that happening. blue and camelback would probobly be the most likely to expand, as they draw large crowds. but with the topography of PA areas, i really don't see expansions being viable. they would just add cost, and would be more of the same type of skiing and riding already in place.
  3. is that an 07'? picked me up the same car in march. its a lot of fun!
  4. i got a ton of financial aid last semester, so i used it to live on campus in camden. I had no idea sno cove had a tornado slide. those things are pretty insane if you get 4 people in a tube. ill have to check it out in a few weeks.
  5. boots were lightly used as you can see. Binders are brand new looking for around 80 for the boots, 100 for the bindings. shipping is free of course!
  6. its crazy how much of everything you can see that far north. driving back from montreal i was able to see whiteface from just outside the city, stowe, mt washington, and whiteface at the same time from 87. i can barely see philly from my house and its only 3 miles as the crow flies
  7. both are brand new, never seen snow. im asking for 130 for the board, and 140 for the bindings. ill ship for free as well.
  8. get a reverse camber board. things just float through pow, even wet stuff. this past season i rode a capita indoor survival 158 in pow, and it was wonderful. also, when my area got dumped on, i took out my 152 horrorscope, which is definitely not made for pow, but it still worked much better than traditional cambered decks i owned previously which were much longer. if you like your custom, i would look into getting the custom v-rocker, or any reverse camber deck. but i cant say enough good things about my indoor survival.
  9. Bump. Willing to take 200 for each. HelP me fix my car!
  10. from lurkin' his threads, i believe that he is legally blind and chooses not to ride black diamonds so that he wont accidentally hit someone or something.
  11. hiking rules. the amount of snow at boulder looks sick. i cant imagine how much they would have if those huge rain storms never showed. edit: with those huge piles for the jumps on boulder park, looks like they might be able to pull off a full run again for mayday (well, from the pics it looks that way at least)
  12. thats whats up!
  13. its all good. i definitely read it wrong. bump!
  14. Sorry I don't shop at rei so I had no idea they could be bought for that much. Obviously I'll accept less, no need to get hostile man.
  15. bought it, just do not really have a use for it. i used it once at mt snow. its a cool little gadget, still in perfect condition. asking 250, ill ship it for free as well. photos available upon request. edit: its the helmet version, so that means it comes with the mounts, a head-strap mount thing, all the cables, etc.
  16. sounds sick. i rode there mid april a few years back after a freak storm hit, would love to go back.
  17. i have no idea. it all got pulled up somehow
  18. if you put two next to eachother, you can make 3d vids. ive seen one on vimeo made with with 2 go pros. pretty sick looking.
  19. i was there, but my third run down and took a gnarly fall off of the flat/down/flat. since everything was still rock hard at the time i got my arm/back/side all cut up and bloody. just hung out and watched the comp then left. shitty end to the season for me.
  20. i was there, but only for a second to buy a pass. i had some shit to do in allentown so i stopped by. thanks for charging my account twice blue now im overdrawn....
  21. i wish spring would get some nice rails and a jump or something. shits closer to me and the snow is always better than bears. the hotel is pimp for bringing never ever girlies up to though.
  22. remember 05/06 or 07/08? i cant remember which year, but bear closed down for like a month after opening weekend and lost all their snow but spring mountain stayed open basically the whole time? i think bear just cannot hold snow. i agree though, there is plenty they could of moved around. maybe they need to regrade the top area so its not a gian flat part where water just puddles and melts snow.
  23. this sucks. i was going to head up and buy an earlybird pass today, as this will be the only day i can get up there the rest of the season. guess i wont be riding blue next year bear creek is still open. come on.
  24. the good things being posted about blue all season long have encouraged me to get an earlybird pass for next season. good to hear they have some decent bumps on multiple trails.
  25. understandable. just shoot me a pm if it works out
