i think any mountain is worth checking out. i had a ton of fun at spring mountain, and roundtop is surely bigger and better than spring. go once, make up your mind from there.

i may be interested in the Aframes. ill know after pics. possibly even the lines and boots. i have to see how my ebay sales go this week. im looking to ski a few times this season and those seem legit to screw around on.....i know nothing about skiing except how to ski sort of.

im only looking for park because i assumed thats all michigan would have worth riding... mt bohemia looks amazing, i even started a thread about that place a while back. but that is out there man, im not sure where in michigan ill be but gauranteed way far from there. ive been reading things about nubs nob and boyne highlands. looks like it will be pretty fun afterall. still hoping for whiteface though.

each year my lil bros hockey team has a tournament, usually in lake placid, which means i get to ride whiteface for about a week. this year though, its looking like instead of whiteface, it will be in Michigan. this is bothersome, because it will be hard to convince riding buddies to come to michigan with me, and from what i see everything is extremely small out there. im pretty bummed about this. so prove me wrong? tell me i should be excited? or am i doomed for a week? i was thinking about driving out there as my family flew, and leaving a few days before they did and hit a few small ass resorts in ohio and other states on the way, and making a little midwest documentary. thats the only cool thing i can think about. papasteeze, you seem keen on the park scene across the land of milk and honey, and Midwest input?

i was there yesterday. they need to make more snow soon, but im sure they can keep something open for a few more days.

according to google earth, the vert of the run is aorund 150-200. ill check out a topo map later when the internet speeds up, im curious now.

yeah i dont mind riding solo, its just the drive up is boring as hell. thanfulyl i found a red white and blue hockey jersey thats huge so i can pass that as my riding gear. if anyone sees a jersey with the number 71 on the back thats me.

damn. anyone else going to be there at night time? i cant make it until around 5. i have to drive to baltimore to get my new car. ill be coming up solo as all my friends feel their frickin girlfriends are more important than snowboarding anymore. damn. to be fair a few have work... shit. would it even be worth it to bring a first timer along? hes been buggin me to bring him snowboarding all fall.

the new brochure says its the park on merry widow. themed to skate spots in philly, not just love park. at least the love lives on elsewhere in pa. rip love park.

i think its more like, the park riders will be forced to deal with it. the resorts up there are really spread out no? i assume its not like here where i can go to boulder when blue puts a bus in their park, or go to spring because bear couldnt make snow, with a small difference in drive time. i could be wrong though.

read the blue mountain forum, than go to blue last season and ride their park. then come back here and post about how bad of an idea buses are in a terrain park.
