for some reason i think they wont open this weekend, maybe not even the one after

when i was at the mountain in early october they looked to be doing alot of work and working pretty hard at getting thigns done. it was also chilly and a hoodie was needed, so i thought that cold was on its way. it would be ashame for them to not open up, but honestly i think they would open at least some sort of terrain if the lifts arent done. there is no way a resort would miss out on christmas break, thats alot of income to not have. hopefully i get home from work tomrrow night to find out they snow was blown at bear, with pictures to prove it. i need something to get that image that i just saw off of camelbacks webcam out of my head so i can stop worrying about if i made a mistake getting a pass to bear and not blue or cb. guess ill have to go play gears of war for now to pass time.

camelback looks to be going all out. thank god, allah, buddha or whoever that pa skiing and riding will soon be under way

at this point im thinking about moving. shit i remember skiing at montage thanksgiving weekend when i was young. i see the trend also, i guess im just driving up north every weekend to get my half off at killy with my bc pass

all the snow needed is the average base depth of mountains in this area, nothing too deep.

damn i kinda wish i went instead of going to killington. killington was paaaacked, and all of the trails were bumped. got to jump over alot of people that were just laying there, pretty fun.

i believe that is snow being blowin on maint street, from what i can see. probobly just a test.

how much are lift tickets for saturday? i know they are 25 for friday but the lack of a website doesnt really tell me anything. and i saw in a news article that the tickets are 25 again saturday but only if you register for the rail jam? im speaking of belleayre that is

i used to have high res shots of the slides but i cant seem to find them. they seem to be the hardest part of any mountain to find good if any photos for since they are rarely open. id love to see some video from there.

wow thats a really nice pipe. and that sounded way wrong. im looking to get to roundtoup and seven springs this year, but springs is a lengthy drive, almost as far as southern vermont. how does roundtops park compare to say, bear creek or blue?

looking at the weather for basically every resort in the east, im seriously wondering if ill make any turns by december...... i know okemo is saying the 18th but i just dont see it but i hope im proven hella wrong.

i did a bit of research on google on this place, and i think the reason no one bought it is because the owner of the property does not want to sell. its also very close to roundtop from what i can see.

the weather doesnt even look good next week for vermont resorts, temps barely going below freezing at night. haha i was sooooo close to riding it sucks. if it wasnt for that damn rain they would definately be opening.

i was under the impression killy was only blowing on upper mountain, but parkbuilder said in another thread that this week they will open wtih top to bottom, definately by the weekend. at this point i dont care where, as long as its under 8 hours, i ride as long as its this week.
