  1. How the hell am I supposed to use it for the rest of the season if they deliver by mail in may? there's no option online for resort pickup (unless im too impaired to find it)
  2. Smoke signals. Great bbq and good drinks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. There’s more discussion over at alpine zone. Apparently these new trails are becoming a shit show with crowds that can’t handle them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think everyone would use the bar if there weren't footrests. Im known to not bring the bar down if there are footrests due to how much they suck with snowboards.
  5. What app are you using? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I would like to thank blue the tru for opening the valley for my first day on snow this season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've never ridden the long haul because its never open. and I've been to montage a lot past couple seasons. I don't care if its fixed, or replaced with a newer fixed grip, just run the damn thing. I shouldn't need to take two lifts for 1k vert. The speed doesn't bother me. Anytime I think a lift is slow, I just think back to my time at smuggs. Holy hell does smugglers notch need some new lifts.
  8. Nope just this stand alone business Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Man I hope this happens. There’s a medical dispensary two miles from my house and it’s been a tease. I would probably smoke less and just eat gummies once legal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hunter is a weird place. That mountain has no business having a ski resort on it, as the trails had to be blasted out of cliffs, with fences on the sides of trails keeping you from going over them. While it skis big, to me it feels like I’m just going through steep switchbacks repeatedly. It feels very manufactured for lack of a better term. I think belleayre, windham, and plattekill seem more like “normal” mountains. I think the new trails however will change the mountain dramatically as belt parkway was the only easy-ish way down from the top. The new trails look steeper than most blues do however. I was a pass holder last few years on peak pass, and eventually just kept driving to mt snow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Im hoping they get the expansion trails going soon. Despite being blues they look fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah I always cut through there anyway. It’s like 20 foot long tops. im still mad that a few years ago I drove up just to find them closed due to inclement weather, despite it being sunny and both their phone and website stating they are open, while a security guard is telling me a hundreds others to leave. glad I saw the light and got a blue pass.
  13. Thought that was camelsack?
  14. bummer to see all this snow on blues cams, yet no snowmaking. Temps are there...
  15. Yes it was. There’s two other front lifts besides the sixer. Both closed
  16. presidents day weekend. basically all lifts go down for the entire weekend. No way to the summit besides the west side lift. So to take laps, they would shuttle you in a truck to west side, take the lift, ski to base, rinse and repeat. Their backup lift had been broken since a few seasons ago, and they never bothered to fix it. while this is happening, they made snow on trails that you couldn't even access instead of on trails you could. all while charging full price. I know stuff breaks, but this was avoidable and left me feeling a certain way. Now one could say just ride the west side trails. Yeah but they were mostly closed. Hunter barely made any snow this year. During the early winter when it was brutal cold, I never saw them make snow in person. Westway trail hasn't had snow made on it since peaks bought the place. I think they finally got the 6pack back up yesterday or the day before, I forget. doesn't matter.
  17. Im leaving the peak pass to come to blue. I hope they don't buy blue. Peak treats every mountain thats not mount snow kinda crappy.
  18. Ditching the peak pass and going with blue next season (and the rest of this season). After the royal fuckup at hunter the past few weeks, I don't want them fools having my money. Plus blue is less than half the drive for me.
  19. Holy shite. Come a long way from a buried school bus. Ill have to check it out. could be a good contender for a pass next year (getting tired of driving to hunter, I'm too old for that shit)
  20. Haven't been to blue in a few years. Last time i was there, sidewinder was the main park. I looked at their map and there seems to be quite a few changes, so I of course have questions. Which park is now their main park with jumplines and whatnot? Good change or bad change? I alway thought sidewinder was better suited to a standard trail anyway.
  21. Elk is like the douchebag husband who treats his insanely hot wife like shit and doesn't know what he's got. great mountain wasted on shitty management.
  22. They can, just no summit access. The article I read made the situation with the tram seem very "saddlebackish". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Jay may not open next season if they cannot secure 4 million for tram repairs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. ^his daughter is hot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Burke too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
