^and when they did that to timberline, they complete ruined the only fun crusing trail at bear. the only non park trail left worth riding imo is sasquatch and its short as hell. old timberline ftw

its never is cold enough here to make snow. when it is, its so marginal i dont even bother. the gun takes up space. i used it for a whole hour last year. decent output until the temps went up. someone in the poconos should have it to put to good use. has this compressor http://www.eatoncompressor.com/catalog/ite...3537/450646.htm and the gun assembly itself is worth around 40. air hoses and check valves and psi gauge included. asking 100$. i can meet anyone at bear creek any day during the week, sno and big boulder presidents day weekend. will make a trip to anywhere else on a tuesday as a friend and i always go riding on tuesdays. im also up for trades too.

what color/size and possibly throw something else in since my romes are 2 years newer?
-
hopefully they leave the lips like that. ride ons sketch me out. i guess from skateboarding before i started snowboarding.
-
no burton . they are the rust white ones
-
the front four are usually more challenging only becasue the conditions seem to be sketchier. besides that they are about even.
-
anyone? romes are very lightly used. expect spi's to be the same. will also trade for any of the mvmnt series
-
say all you guys want about camelback, but im pretty worried sno is gonna be closed when i go presidents day weekend. its expected of camelback though. check the weather and plan around it.
-
i would prefer if someone shit themselves that they clear the landing asap. bear doesnt need anymore brown spots
-
probobly just a little.
-
the whole mountain was brown. looking at video i took from closing day last year, id say that there was more snow then than there is now. and how the hell was there ice today? i dont get it. easy to spin off though
-
they have just as much snow as BC does
-
i believe they were the cadets. my only gribe with them was the highback felt terrible, like it forced me to be on my toes even after adjusting. the higher end models may be different, but i looked into getting another pair and all of the highbacks looked similar, except for the lowdown.
-
i had a pair earlier this season. i rode them twice. not very responsive and the highback was way too stiff. quickly sold them.

beautiful brigh purple coat, absolutely gorgeous. its ever important to protect this species from park passes and smart style clinics, so that they will still be around for our childrens generation. HA. just watch out for a ski pole to the heart. shit. too soon? sorry steve i love ya RIP.

photobucket.com. upload them, than copy the direct link to the picture. then paste it into the add image above where you type in the text on a reply. start a gaper/noobs in the park picture thread haha
-
i have to disagree. glad you had a good time though
-
these pictures arent from bear, they are from shawnee. i took them from the lift because i thought it was outrageous. ill take a bunch from bear tomorrow. gaper hunter 2k8

this idea of fencing off the landing is pretty interesting. i think its something that should be looked into not just at blue, but everywhere. simple and cheap. what about the poles they use to put in front of closed features? that could work too.

whos the creepy old dude that works at bear creek? he made a comment about one of the girls after i had sat down from talking to them. he proceded to tell me he was a slut. this was last year and i havent seen him around. did he get arrested?

isnt it the worst when cocky little kids get off doing whatever, then they just go about their way and live the rest of their lives like little dildos because no one ever puts them in their place? i blame this on teachers not being able to dicipline kids anymore. this may sound like a sarcastic post, but its not. thats really one of my all time hated things about kids. my kids will know all too well the word no and how to deal with it.

its only around here. its not up north as much. even at hunter i didnt see this problem. waterville had noobs, but they were respectful of the rules. did not see it at stowe, whiteface, but did however see it a bit at killington. granted it was thanksgiving weekend with limited terrain. i assume it probobly happens frequently down south too though. i think it has to do with the mass amount of complete morons in the tri state area. if half the population cannot respect safety and others on the road, how are they going to do it on the mountain?
-
let me first say this. i went to shawnee because it was the most affordable place to ride on the weekend. and because i like their park usually. but holy shit words cannot describe what goes on in the park there. i saw a fight almost break out because a guy decided to ski up a landing from the side last minuit and almost got landed on. the bc forums have been ablaze about noobs/gapers in the parks. go to shawnee, and leave thankful. that being said, the few times i was not snaked or i just gave up on waiting for the landing to clear, i was impressed. the jumps were weird though. they were all shaped like bears anti jump, but angled up(no lip). the rails look ghetto as hell but were really fun. the trails are fun. theres just something about shawnee i like, but its not weekend crowds. im talking last thanksgiving at killington crowds. chaos. people landing on people, neon everywhere. people deciding the trails too steep, than walking down the CENTER of the trail. shawnee has their own version of cb's ranger patrol, but they never bothered doing anything. as for the conditions-mashed potatos with skins. the beginner park had no gapers/noobs really, but the "expert" park did. i dont get it. cut the damn pipe too so you can actually air out. also, if any shawnee reps read this and want to hire someone to just go around and fish people out of the woods, ill do it. if every weekend is like today, id be busy open to close.

bear creek does not have a problem. riding shawnee today made me realize how outrageous it could be at bear, but isnt. holy hell.
