splooshie, stop being a dick. he comes over every year and rides. and its not hard to find out about pasr from all the stickers on the lift.
-
there are a ton on ebay. brand new ones too.
-
its not that they are lying, most likely that they just dont care. or, those trails had snowmaking when the temps were good, and that is where it will begin.

paragraphs? damn im glad i didnt go on monday. 2 years ago their park was incredibly fun. what happened?
-
would someone please tell me where these jumps on timberline were i did not see them. maybe because they were on cascade?
-
id rather have swap.avi

used twice. too stiff for me to press comfortably. it is by no means a stiff board, but i jacked my knee pretty bad so i need something softer. looking for 250ish but im willing to negotiate, or a trade for another board even if its in not as good condition. if anyones interested ill post picturegraphs

ouch. that rainbow box almost bucked me too. vibes man.

Planning a trip to JFBB on 1/8... 58 degrees?
rgrwilco replied to deboarder's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
if theres no snow in my yard it means theres no snow at the mountains -
but shouldnt the babies have something good to learn on that would provide the same feel as the larger jumps so the learning curve between freedom to love than love to boulder is not that high?
-
looking on the cascade cam, i can see the double c box, a jump, and a spine type thing with a barrel bonk.
-
not so much calling out boarders right away, but ragging on other areas right of the bat. dude you didnt even list anything constructive. sounds like you just want a thread to bash stuff in. too bad for you that if snow keeps making improvements the boarders will come back. the montage days scared most away. then all the trails will be scrapped off for you to bitch about.

and a park feature list like shawnee and boulder
-
bear creek' s beginner park is a joke. 2 boxes that are usually harder than the gap ons, on a slope no longer than my suburban backyard. terrain run at blue is uber fun. you must have hit shawnee on an off day, its always good there when i go. mountain creek actually has 2 peaks dedicated to parks, but im not sure about their beginner stuff. big boulder has freedom park, which has a few flat boxes. but its always crowded and full of cocky ass fools. blue is your best bet.

im gonna stick up for cb on this one...the few times ive been there, it was insanely windy at the top. i was once at blue during morning and cb at night, and blue was calm while at cb later i was letting the wind move me across traverses.
-
bears webcams at night are like looking at an ugly girl after a 30 block. it always looks a ton better than it is.

the concept of a love park for skiing and riding is great-the execution however is horrible. when this was announced, i had all these crazy images in my head of what it would turn out like.(realistic ones). streetlight style lights, marble benches without kickers(ollie on instead of gap on), and a bonkable love sign, hubba ledges. a park like that could be a showcase park.

dumb trail for a park imo
-
i obviously do or i wouldnt of said anything...i guess its more of a "i paid good money to ride and any dueche can walk up to the lift without paying" type thing.
-
dood its bad. worse than anything last year times ten. but they have a jump and blue doesnt . they are ognnas be blowing sneaux all day tomorrow so its gonna be velcro snow on top of awful shit.\ and ill probobly be there tryin to get my pass scanned.
-
first off. wtf. i payed for a pass an have yet had to show it. add the shittastic conditions, and it furthers my feeling of wasted money. just once, can i get my pass scanned somewhere on nthe hill? anywhere?
-
as in where you get off the lift? there was a ramp there? i thought it was a half a foot drop to mud patties.
-
just my two cents- keeping the park rats at south, and opening up vernon and granite dirtball free is a good idea. ive been there to see the effects. they just need to cut some more trails on granite for the core freeriders. and why people do not use the free board check is beyond me.

its 3 bucks to get out of jersey for tolls, then a few more on the way up. probobly around 10 total. i have company ez pass so it doesnt matter. its about an hour and a half or so from dmb, but about 45 minuits to an hour from where i live. im definately down to go up saturday. i cant ride until nights on weekends anyways so its all good.
