    snowmaking

fresh snow on razors at the end of march is fun. didnt camelback blow beginning of march last year? im pretty sure they did.
  2. i think ive seen you up there before from the lift. i didnt question your sexual preference though, i think i was just like "man that dude dont give a fuck" ill either be on a never summer, or a green ass nitro t1. both stand out.
  3. bringin this topic back. i couldnt make it saturday, and i was supposed to go tomorrow (wednesday) but my friend bakced out last minuit again in predictable fashion. so anyone going to be up there in the morning/ afternoon?
  4. 10 from the wrist, 10 from the arm, 10 from the shoulda'. could probobly get a decent column out of a pit on challenge.
  5. im heading up with 2 girls that have ridden once and claim to know what they are doing so if you see me tryin to teach 2 girls ride by and laugh. ill be leaving them alone probobly to take runs through the park a few times.
  6. i really want to go out there, but its a far ass drive, and all my friends are lazy asses
  7. http://www.junemountain.com/home/?CFID=608...FTOKEN=31582751 also i did some clicking around and saw mammoth only has a 4 foot average base. i checked this time last year and they had twice thatish
  8. http://www.holidayvalley.com/news.cfm?story=206 well its not that big, but interesting none the less
  9. some of those little handwarmer thingys you find at gas stations help out alot with that, i put one in each boot wedged on top of my toes kinda, and one in each hand. if you can keep your head, hands, and feet warm, your golden.
  10. sad thing is the landing was clear when he dropped. happens all too often. imagine if he was going a tad slower....
  11. im definately gonna head up next week, shawnee is super fun.
  12. my friend has a t1 so i gave it a try a few days ago, and it was alot of fun. perfect flex. so i ordered one. its last seasons model, but saved me a few hundred bucks, and got some freebs with it too. hopefully i get it before wednesday.
  13. no one died on that slide, but a few got stuck. theres a trap door at spots along the loop so people could get out. i cant believe they would build that.
  14. i always wanted to go there, im thinking about driving out at the end of february, or after a big storm as most people reccomdend.
  15. i saw on the mountain report page that granite view is not listed as a trail? did i miss something in the past? i know it wasnt open every time i went in the past few years, and it looked like a fun trail.
  16. a little update on this situation, ive been looking around in various shops, and unless i order online(which i dont want to do, i like to feel the flex and whatnot) im pretty much screwed. nothing in my prefered size, and what they do have are not even boards i really considered. one salesmen did try to sell me a 1900 dollar board though yeah he had a full stock of those with all sizes.
  17. any word on the snowmaking situation? i saw the pond was low, but there is gettin to be some sketchy spots and quite a few trails seem like one warm day could kill em.
  18. its open, might just by a typo on the page. i definately saw some cuties ridin up it today.
  19. i think killington does too, on the trail that goes along side of the road for beginners.
  20. think theyll beat blue this year for latest closing?
  21. too early to be talkin bout next season, makes it feel like this one is almost over. might as well contribute to the topic though: basically what bc mark said they have been doing for next season, is more then enough for me.
  22. sent yah one.
  23. most likely ill be up later in the afternoon. this jumpline sounds sickkkkkk. they had one last year right? or was it just for a little while, i dont remember seeing it when i was up there.
  24. hell yeah, your park was alot of fun least season, definately gonna get up there soon.
  25. i was under the impression that lifts are counterweighted so that if the cable does come up, people dont die, like when creeks gondolas cable derailed last season. or am i mistaken, and if i am, why isnt there a device that goes over top of the wheels so that the cable cannot leave them? wow this is scary http://www.coloradoskihistory.com/chairlift/yan2.html
