mattykins Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 does anyone know a good kind of epoxy to get to fix a snowboard. about an inch of the graphic layer is coming off my board on the tale. so i wanted to patch that up Quote
xNick11 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 If there is wood showing then get the wood epoxy, if its just the top sheet maybe try the plastic epoxy. They should all work fine, one might last a little longer then the other, but you can always apply more after it wears out. Quote

If you don't you are going to trap in the moisture that the wood has taken in and it will break down from the inside out. It will probably not stay sealed as long either since the epoxy won't dry properly. Quote
GNU_rider Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 Actually one trick I was told by one of the guys at mervin (GNU,LIB,Roxy) was loc-tite the blue one I forget the number though, I haven't tried it but it makes sense but the 2 part epoxy is your best bet if you don't wanna risk trying something like loc-tite. adrian Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 try to vice it down if possible especially if you are experiencing a separation between layers. Quote
