BC-Mark Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 We will begin making snow around 6PM tonight to get a jump start on this round of snowmaking. Temperatures don't look too favorable for around the clock production until Monday or Tuesday next week, but night time temperatures look good through mid to late next week. By Monday/Tuesday we should have plenty of snow to start building bigger features in the parks and begin NASTAR on the 19th. Quote

K2rider Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 Its almost 10:45 and there still not blowing Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 i was really looking forward to them being able to begin blowing at 5 or 6 tonight but atleast they are blowing Quote
BC-Mark Posted December 15, 2007 Author Report Posted December 15, 2007 We were able to get started around 11:30 last night. The temperatures just weren't dropping and the humidity remained relatively high all night. We did get some decent production from 4am to 7:30am with a wet bulb around 22. Tonight looks questionable with the ice/rain coming in but tomorrow night looks cold and we see good temps in the forecast through Wednesday night. Quote
snowboarddude Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 that sucks... when does bear plan on redoing the park? Quote
Tyler Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 i've heard that the general plan for the park is to have it set up well by thursday but who knows if that will happen. and BC Mark, for only having a few hours of good production, you made a lot of great snow and it made all the difference in the world for todays conditions. snowboarddude Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 they should be now it is 27 with 90% humidity unless the snowmaking chart on there webpage is wrong i don't know why they arn't Quote
k2rider2690 Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 yeh but that hardly makes it into marginal snowmaking, there prob gonna wait and see if the humidity drops or the temp Quote
