Saurus Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Isn't that what they had it set up as in the beginning or am I wrong? yeah but they had the lip of the jump to the top blocking the way to hit the side from the front. And the bleachers super steep compared to what i had in mind with the butter box. But i like how the butterbox is now Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 anyone have any ideas on what bear could do with the 1/4 pipe??? Quote
JibHonk Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 anyone have any ideas on what bear could do with the 1/4 pipe??? scrap it Quote
Tyler Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 keep it set up just the way it is, make sure its always open though so people can get a feel for it and start trying stuff on it. Quote
Saurus Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 With the quarter pipe you can lay it on the ground and flip it around so you get on it and at the end it launches you Quote
JibHonk Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 the plastic coping is already peeling and screws are stickin it Quote
nick Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 tear it apart and rebuild it, this time making it smaller and not so tight of a transition, and NOOOOO vert, because as of right now that thing really sucks.... Quote
mollyskeez Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 anyone have any ideas on what bear could do with the 1/4 pipe??? i think i suggested this earlier. if bear really doesnt want to reabuild it they could try and set the quarter pipe on like a mound of snow so that people wouldnt be coming directly down from the vert of the hill when they hit it it would be flat for a little. Quote
burton71 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 I thought the 1/4 was fine, its a little steep but not terrible. Quote
Blong131 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 turn it sidways and just make it a short high box Quote
alexsz17 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 turn it on its back and make it a butter booter. Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 turn it on its back and make it a butter booter. that seems like the most logical idea Quote
k2rider2690 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 today since they have been blowing so much snow, there was alot of snow in the front of the quarter pipe. my friend and i reshaped the snow in the front so that it was a half snow quarter pipe and the top half was plastic. we made it more mellow and it was perfect. i was airing out two or three feet. i think thats the easiest way to fix the quick transition Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 you were the people who did that that was so sick Quote

That is how it is supposed to be setup. My friend and I tried to do that one other day it was open but there wasn't good enough snow to get it setup. Quote
stbgskibum247 Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I'll try shaping a nice lip of snow that goes up high next time i'm working.... Quote
