AtomicSkier Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 Blue's new website is amazing. They actually paid money to have a site designed, and it paid off, that old site was for clowns. The new one is probably the best website for a ski area in PA. HOWEVER....on the conditions page, it says "vertical feet" instead of length. They have linear feet listed. Quote
method9455 Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 No, thats not a mistake, blue mountain IS jackson hole height. Thats why doug likes it so much. Aside from that though, big improvement. Quote
phillycore Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 Am I missing something.....looks like the same website to me www.skibluemt.com ??? Quote

stever2003 Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 your DNS hasn't changed yet...give it up to 24 hours no, just clear your cache and try it again. http://support.lexis-nexis.com/lexiscom/re...icleID=wg_cache oh, and they should put vert AND linear feet for each trail. that would be sweet. RootDKJ Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 New web site is great! Way to go Blue! Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Huge improvement. I love the ariel photo when clicking "the mountain" tab. Quote
DHarrisburg Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 First, to enter the park you now need ride up a flight of stairs. We've heard your concerns of folks just passing through and ignoring park etiquette, so we've added this feature to discourage those from entering. It's pretty funny that they recognize that nobody actually takes their equipment off to get in the park. Quote
Matt Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 (edited) The new site looks nice, but it's still busted. I'm not impressed. Still alot of broken links, the formatting still isn't uniform, and they should bring in their other departments into the site (ski school, ski patrol, etc...) to make them all uniform. The main site looks great, that's nice, yet the ski patrol and ski school pages look like s**t. They also represent the "mountain's internet image" There is alot of this crap, "Edit index.snippet.aspx in the CMT.", and why do they have a mobile version if you can't easily access it via something like m.skibluemt.com? They should of did more testing and design work on it before they launched it. Edited December 23, 2007 by Matt Quote
skifreak Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 It's a major improvement from all the others they had over the years. I can only get it to work with Firefox though. Quote

RidgeRacer Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 If it's the one I saw earlier, I think it is Palmerton. It's Jim Thorpe...which is a good 20 minutes from Blue. Quote
skifreak Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 It's Jim Thorpe...which is a good 20 minutes from Blue. That's the other one I thought it might have been. I didn't think Palmerton looked that good downtown haha. Quote
