Rowsdower Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Honestly, have you guys seen forecasts and or been outside lately? It's ridiculous. Almost as ridiculous as last year except things are still open. Quote
Justin Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 Eh, the forecast for all of next week is snow. Hopefully this rain period is over and it will bring in some white stuff. Quote
soldier32 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 La nina will live, accuweather says the rain will be over so there definitely wont be any rainbows, and snows on the way. Quote
stever2003 Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 I know it's warmer down here, but I'm going to Killington this upcoming Thursday through Sunday, and the 10-day forecast is looking gorgeous for the trip. Quote
Rowsdower Posted December 29, 2007 Author Report Posted December 29, 2007 (edited) Where is everyone seeing snow? I see rain, except maybe for a period tomorrow night. Edited December 29, 2007 by Rowsdower Quote
rgrwilco Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 the high temp for macungie on wednesday is 28??... that seems right Quote
Rowsdower Posted December 29, 2007 Author Report Posted December 29, 2007 It'll be cold for a bit. Enough time to stockpile snow for warm weather following the cold snap. Quote
Tyler Posted December 29, 2007 Report Posted December 29, 2007 i see next weeks blowing period as more of a recovery then a stockpiling Quote

sibhusky Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Well, La Nina is being good to us, finally. Even though they were barely able to open the resort "on time" on Dec. 8 (past years the goal was turkey day), we've had the snowiest December in the last 10 years so far. Siblet has been doing the off piste waist deep stuff and I hope there will still be some for me when I'm ready. It's the light fluffy Utah kind of snow. Too bad there are so many people enjoying it. I get to ski tomorrow, but then it's off to Washington State School of Veterinary Medicine for one of my pooches. He's in bad shape and it's a seven hour drive each way, but we've got to see if we can save him, so once again no skiing. Quote
