skimom Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 (edited) My poles disappeared from the CB locker room late Friday night. The place was a ghost town -> only a handfull of kids in the terrain park. I know a bunch of you were planning to go to CB Fri PM. Anyone know who ripped off my poles? They are graphite (thin), with gray ARTECH hand shields - about 48". I'm hoping one of you knows who has them - I really like them, and would like them back. Edited January 20, 2004 by skimom Quote
skidude Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 Stolen at camelback? Camelback has no crime, no ice, and everything is perfect there. I hope you didn't post that on the other board or I bet it will be deleted or something....Giving CB a bad name or something like that. Quote
skimom Posted January 20, 2004 Author Report Posted January 20, 2004 (edited) Maybe those 80 mph winds blew them away............. Edited January 20, 2004 by skimom Quote
skidude Posted January 20, 2004 Report Posted January 20, 2004 yeah in the locker room...They said all the trails were open all day just no lifts...Does that mean you can hike up if you want...Being they were 100% open???? Or were they actully 2% open? Maybe we should ask Dave Quote

I know really go out and buy a ski tote or a lock. Whats $15 if your $600 equipment gets stolen. All of those that were stolen at blue werent even locked. Quote
skimom Posted January 22, 2004 Author Report Posted January 22, 2004 I always lock my skis when I'm outside...never thought to lock them for a 30 second sprint to the ladies room when the place was deserted. Why didn't I? But, I will next time. Quote
SomeGuyWhoSkis Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I usualy take my blades in with me when I go in. "Lodge Security" be damned. It's easier than locking them and more safe to have them with you. Quote
Dave_S Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I did see a lot more security Friday night but I am not sure they could tell who was stealing and who was just picking up their own equipment. Maybe they serve as a deterrent. perhaps the security force should be armed? Quote

Anyway when u give the security guns why not give the rangers rocket launchers? Quote
