ColoradoHigh Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 So my dad booked a trip out west for spring break at Vail. From March 17th-22nd....can't wait...should be... .....EPIC Quote
ColoradoHigh Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 Meh, its a big mountain.... I'll have fun no matter what... Quote
train36 Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I'll be there in February , anyone know a place to get discount tickets to Vail at. The place is real expensive, 92$ a day! , thats crazy. I could do almost two days at Brighton for that much. But I never been to Colorado and got a free place to stay l, so it evens out. Quote
phillycore Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Vail is sick... It's so damn big the extra people don't matter.. Just head to the back bowls and blue sky basin.... WERD!!! Quote

ColoradoHigh Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 Awesome Chippy, can your Dad adopt me??? Vail will most likely have better conditions in March than you experienced last April in Jackson Hole.. We can't.... yeah, i'm expecting to have very good conditions...better then last year at J-hole.... Quote
Erin808 Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Awesome! Blue sky basin is not hard. It's annoying to get there but most of it isn't really steep. On the front side the Avanti lift is prob the best and least crowded intermediate spot. You'll have a great time. Quote
phillycore Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 It's so open that you can pretty much stay away from people all day... You HAVE to get away from that front side of the mountain though as it's all just oversized trails... No reason to head all the way out to Vail to ski something that you could do in Vermont. JMO though.. You'll find something you like there.... it's damn near impossible not to Quote
jordan Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 vail only feels crowded if you ski the gondi all day, just stay away from the gondola and you will ski right onto the lift on weekdays and have no more than 5 minute waits on weekends Quote
