soccer911 Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 The top layer of my ski is chipped at the side The chipped section is about .5 inch X 1.5 inches. How can I repair this? Also, what can I do to prevent any further damage? Any suggestions/ advice would be greatly apreciated!!! :rock Quote
Papasteeze Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 it's like a scratch on a new car, hard to accept - epoxy it if you are worried about moisture getting into the core and damaging it or take it to a reputable shop.... and see what they suggest. Quote
Justin Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Quick set epoxy works well. All you need to do is seal it off so no water can get into the core. I have a few decent size hacks on my topsheet and they ski fine, moisture is the only thing you need to worry about. Quote
