Park Crue Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 The Pipe Jam was super fun. It was a jam format and the best trick would win. NOT the best run. Bugbee and Dave were there and the tunes were pumpin. Caleb was killin it, Getting huge airs and a really nice frontside 5. Charlie Coombs was also just putting down 1 hitters going for the clean frontside 720. Kevin Corrigan was throwing down huge 5s with an iron cross grab and Rodea Steve laid down a great trick !! In the end Charlie landed a super clean 720, and walked off with 1st prize($100.00). Caleb was 2nd. ($50.00) and just inching into 3rd over Kevin Corrigan was Rodeo Steve($25.00). Hunter Deutsch walked off with the most stylish outerwear looking like a mini rapper on a snowboard!.($25.00). All in all, a great time was had and thanks everyone for supporting our comps. Next Sunday we move back to Sidewinder Park for the rail jam. Please, everyone should support these comps, especially if you want them to continue. peace...... Quote

Park Crue Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 It's snowing, blowing and conditions are pretty miserable for a Rail Jam. Alas, we have decided to cancel. We will be blowing snow on Sidewinder tonite and tomorrow. And we are gunna redo the whole park. So next weeks Jam will be the business. ...weather permitting.!! Quote

Park Crue Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 the fever still on for tuesday night with a rebuild then? p.s. put the mound/hip back in, it made a good drop in for the jump line All depends if the wind doesn't blow all the snow we make tonite away. We will try and finish the rebuild so that we can open the park fresh for the contest. Will post here on our progress. P.S. this weather sucks. Quote
