soccer911 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 It's hard to find east coast ski competitions these days...what amateaur competitions are there these days besides the ones at local mountains... Are there any other nation-wide amateaur competitions i.e next snow search and mountain dew vertical challenge? Quote
sirfrancisbacon9 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 (edited) not really, you just have to look at the schedules of events of the mountains, hunter has a good one i like to compete it, its in march called the telemet 42 lat, it has a big air, quarterpipe, and a rail jam, camelback jut had the no pro pipe contest this past sunday, and a whole other rail jams, my home mountain whiteface has tons of events, and if u think ur up for it try the vt open, or the telus event in tremblant, and if ur under 16 u can try the salomon jib academy, just look up the dates and places Edited January 29, 2008 by sirfrancisbacon9 Quote
lineskier18 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 I think JFBB is trying to get a lot more competitions this year too Quote
Justin Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Blue has a competition every Sunday and Tuesday night. Big Boulder has a competition every Friday night, and they just hosted TransAM. Not all of them are big time but you can still win some stuff. Quote
lineskier18 Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 Jack Frost hosted the Mt.Dew Vertical Challenge in December too, except the fucking JF race team won all of the medals...I woulda had first if they werent there Quote
