So how did you guys do?

No team results yet. There was a slight hiccup with how the computer calculated the team scores, so they couldn't get the team results complete quick enough.

But we finally found someone who could beat the top man, Racewax.com's Chris..... Racewax.com's Bob.

One of our teammates wrote me last night to say we had the top three times, as well as the top female time...I had to leave Sno right after my second run, so I didn't see actual results.

Bobert540 smoked the course and was the only person to break 35 seconds that I saw. The guy who is usually our fastest had to share skis with another racer, so he ended up dealing with some tough ruts because he went late and was second. And our super fast guy from Germany, who was dealing with the flu last week, uncorked a great second run for third fastest overall. I also saw Brian's runs and have no idea how he wasn't fastest. He and CJ are awesome racers.

Thanks man... you too. :)

Also, there's a rumor going around that Art was a no-show because he's still recovering from his Scott Macartney-like crash last week. :D

Everyone did great last night! We have a team of very solid skier's.

I believe Chris broke 35 seconds as well. It was nice to be able to watch everyone race from our team this week.

Chris is as good as the elite ASRA guys, so if you can push him, then that really says something. I just think it's great how many Sno coaches are involved in getting their own race fix. You're in a pretty good position to see how doing your own racing is just one more tool for your coaching quiver. I always had more respect for my coaches in various sports who still played whatever game. I just felt they had a better understanding, rather than just preaching the book.

Also, I'll make a proposal this weekend about some slalom gates for next Thursday and let you know.

I know exactly what you mean. I have always felt that way in all of the sports that I played growing up.

That would be sweet to have some SL gates setup!

I guess we'll find out for sure later today.. but the looks of the race trail from I-81 did not look good at all.

Either they steal all the snow from the terrain park, or we use mud patches as gates.
