stbgskibum247 Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 Now that we finally got a little bit of snow I think there's a possibility of hitting some handrails near Kutztown University...I know in most spots the coverage is very low, but the plow trucks have left big piles all around the campus parking lots. There's a nice dfd i've been eying up for a while and it's only a couple steps away from a large snow bank. Is anybody in the area looking to join? It would make the setup a lot easier and faster. dolfman261 Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 yoooo! im definently down for some urban rails, the rest of the huck crew would def. be interested as well. hows friday? Quote
stbgskibum247 Posted February 13, 2008 Author Report Posted February 13, 2008 I figured you guys would jump on that...I've got a whole lineup of spots too. I've got class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to 3pm but other than that I'm down. I'm pretty sure there are no issues with security or anything either. It doesnt say no skiing or snowboarding anywhere, and i've heard that security guards have watched and cheered as kids hit handrails in the past. PM me your number or screen name or whatever... Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 i'm pretty sure the snow will be gone with all the rain we have had Quote
mollyskeez Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 (edited) actually the rain might help them because if there were huge piles it wont fully go away it would be like super packing snow. Edited February 13, 2008 by MISSDEMEANOR Quote
k2wwwkid Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 or just really really icy   if i could drive i would be there... maybe next year Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 if they do it durring the day it will probly be good Quote
Dan- Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 actually the rain might help them because if there were huge piles it wont fully go away it would be like super packing snow. Â Â Or just giant piles of ice. Freeze/thaw.... Quote
Saurus Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 with the rain its fucking hard as hell to make lips because all the snow is soft, Have fun haha. My advice is to make the lips the night before and salt them down along with pooring water on the rail to make it faster Quote
Saurus Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 So how've them twintips been going for you? Steezin the steps at blue Quote
