ThinkSnow
Anyone know if Nestor's does any type of demo program? I'm looking to try some new shorter stix, and blue doesn't seem to do demo days so I'm looking for ski shops that do, even if they have one of those "u demo it, if u buy it we'll take the cost off the price of the ski" deals. skifreak
I think they have a customer appreciation day at blue, but I don't know if they have demos there. I also think that they do demos at nestors but I am not sure.
skidude
I think the loft at CB has demos...You could demo the day you are there....but you might not want to waste your time with demos, and stuff, since you have to pay for a lift ticket... ThinkSnow
I don't think I would mind doing that, I just wonder about the selection of demos that they have, what I have seen before wasn't that much.
train36
I think Buckmans does demos, I'm pretty sure they have demo days listed on their website.
skimom
Think: Camelback and the Loft have some nicer demo skis - they work together so you can demo from both or either. It's $35/day, but you can demo two pairs if you want. And, they sell the demos at the end of the season, so you could probably work out a deal. I did it once last year and they only charged half price. I demoed their atomic SL skis and their C9's. They have other atomics - sx9 and 10, several K2 skis and some others. I was thinking about trying the C9's and sx's again this season if they ever get NASTAR going.
LineSki
the loft at camelback does. and they usaully have a pretty good selection of of demo skis and boards to choose from.
skimom
Elk also had a free demo day last spring - It was part of a consumer promotion day and lift tickets were also discounted. The problem with Mtn demo days is that they have limited sizes and types, and they only want you to try them for a couple runs -
ThinkSnow
Thanks Skimom! I guess y'all will probably see me on demos for PASR day at Camelback...

ThinkSnow
isn't it gonna be pouring rain wed and thurs? Â If not, are they gonna be there in the evening? I'd have to go after work.
skidude
They came to CB this weekend (Salomon, atomic, and dynastar) but they all left by like 1030, because no one was demoning in the rain. I would have taken a few skis out for a run or 2, but I had no C.Card with me, and no parent to sign.
