RidgeRacer Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) Hey guys... Just back from a fun day at JF...I got to the lot around 11:00am to snow flurries falling. Made my first run through the One Park trees and back out to one park since there wasn't enough snow to cross over onto exhibition. After that I hit Thunderbolt then over to east. The snow when I got there was a semi fast / soft cord...really fun. That changed pretty dramatically as the day went on. The falling snow became fairly heavy for about an hour....nothing major but it was enough to create a coating on top of the existing base which really slowed things up and made the snow sticky. I hit the usuals like River Shot then Floyds and since the snow was soft I hit the Elevator three times during the day...there's still plenty of snow on it and it was easy to carve. Also hit Challenege and the outter edge of the trees to skiers right still has a good bit of snow in there but further into the glade there were rocks, logs and all sorts of things exposed so I headed back onto Challenge to finish the run. I made my way over to the lodge for lunch, then did two more runs. After around 1pm the snow became real sticky and real slow and I hit the road. All in all it was a very nice March afternoon at Jack Frost. Oh and a special shout out goes to the lady in the food court for hooking me up with a tub for my fries and copius amounts of cheese.
