Melissa Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 Ah, I just got an email from Sno Mountain about the events going on this weekend (which, btw, was great--I'd love to get regular emails about stuff going on at the mountain, etc.). It also says that they close at 5pm on Sunday for the season. I'm hoping that they'll rethink their decision in some way, because they have a ton of snow. And I'd love to see people be able to use the 22 ft half pipe a bit more! Quote

When they shut down this midweek, you just knew it killed any chance for April. The carnival weekend is going to be pretty quiet, too.... Quote

ski HEAD Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 That stinks..is March 30th the latest Montage/Sno has stayed open? They closed last year the first week in april. Back in the 90's, when the county owned it, they would some years have a ski and baseball day for opening day Quote
Schif Posted March 26, 2008 Report Posted March 26, 2008 This is really disappointing. Especially because I think everyone knows that that 22 foot pipe will be sticking around for quite some time now. Quote
Ski Posted March 27, 2008 Report Posted March 27, 2008 I think a lot of them are going to CB, for the free tickets. You mean Sno passholders driving down to CB while Sno is open? IDK, I'm more inclined to think Sno passholders are done until next year, except for next weekend. I could see some Sno passholders taking advantage of super cheap Catskills tickets, but not CB...but who knows? Quote

Perhaps NY or VT for some April riding ... How is Belleayre? Quote
