bigdaddyk Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 (edited) I called and you still can't use a midweek season pass on Saturday, which is bullshit if they are charging midweek rates. Edited March 28, 2008 by bigdaddyk Quote
Melissa Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Posted March 28, 2008 I called and you still can't use a midweek season pass on Saturday, which is bullshit if they are charging midweek rates. Do you seriously think the lift attendants would notice? I don't usually advocate this sort of thing, but seriously, just wear the pass. Wouldn't Sno in theory want a bunch of people to show up to attend the festivities? Quote
Ratboy Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I guess this means that the cheap lift ticket for passholders from other mountains is no longer valid (for sunday)? Quote

bigdaddyk Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 (edited) Big was nearly arrested while using it correctly this season. Not sure he's in a mood to poach... Yeap. I called a couple days before Christmas to make sure it was valid on Christmas and was told yes. The website had no mention of Christmas being a black out, it only says excluding Sundays of Martin Luther King, President's Weekends. I ended up going on Christmas, which was a Tuesday, and got carted off to the damn office on my third run. I had to pitch a bitch for about five minutes until a lady came out and said yes they are valid (which I already knew). They kept saying that it was not valid on Holidays. I told them to re-read their own policy because there is no mention of holidays, only the Sundays of two holiday weekends. I then left the office and went to get on the Iron Horse and got pulled aside again and told it wasn't valid. This time I was getting pissed off and I told them that it was bullshit and I just left the office and ended up calling the office and bitched about it because they did not tell the rest of the lift attendants. Papasteeze Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 They have had all season to get some one to update accurate information. Baffling on why when the internet is the place for information, that they don't do that. Quote
poconoceancity Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 They should advertise great deals on day passes and season passes for next year if their goal is to get the word out. Quote
Ratboy Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Big was nearly arrested while using it correctly this season. Not sure he's in a mood to poach... Melissa was right ... Any pass was good for Saturday. The folks at Sno seem to have some serious communication issues. I called in the morning to see if my "restricted pass" would be good for today. They said yes, you can use that pass today. I get up there around 2:00 and decide to check with the person at the ticket window(just to make sure). The ticket person said no. I asked the ticket person to check with a manager, and few moments later was told " Yes, you can use that pass". I did not get hassled by the "lifties" ... "Qui audet adipiscitur" Quote
