TT C6 Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Posted March 28, 2008 thinking about making an appearance at camelback, and/or otherwise may hang some at boulder both days. I'm hoping for people to plan a gathering in the park or organize some sort of carpool. If not, does anyone at least want to set a time and place to get together to grab lunch or dinner? Shenanigans, etc? Quote

So what movies will you guys be quoting at Big Boulder this weekend? I'm must be the only guy not in love with SuperTroopers. "Old School", "Wedding Crashers" ,"Happy Gilmore","Animal House", and "Harol & Kuhmar" are usually looping at my shore house. Any comedy with Vince Vaughn or Will Farrell is usually a winner. Paul Newman is incredible in it, and now he makes Organic Oreo Cookies that rock my world, and gives all the profit of his food sales to charity. A hippie hockey players ultimate role model. A hippie hockey players ultimate role model. Paul Newman's salad dressings ROCK! His food sales have equaled MILLIONS of dollars in charity donations. Not to mention, Paul is a fellow racer with an accomplished career as a driver and owner. Funny how these threads run off on tangents. Who's riding Big Boulder this weekend ???? nick malozzi Posted March 28, 2008 Report Posted March 28, 2008 EPIC I also got to play in that rink which is in Johnstown, PA. This is PASR, so we aren't THAT off topic. Quote

Honestly, I don't give a shit what you guys talk about......as long as some PASR's show up and hit the parks at BB this weekend. If I watched Slapshot before a night of drinking with my boys, we'd end up getting rowdy. I'll stick to Old School. "So GOOD when it hits your lips!!!!" I'd like to hire a camera guy to film some of my runs on Love park this weekend. It would be a joke for the guys who compete, but I'm curious to see what the hell I look like when I hit the jumps. RightEmpire Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 whats the set up like? unfortunately I had work all day and couldn't make it. are the features from the ECTC still up on love park? Quote
librider Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 I was there all day today. The setup is so so fun. A little crowded and it got icy towards the end of the day but it was deffinitly fun. Quote
TT C6 Posted March 29, 2008 Author Report Posted March 29, 2008 (edited) I was REALLY pissed off that Big Boulder closed Love park! Especially when you can clearly SEE all the snow they had left on Love. I really like Love PArk because there is some space to ride between features and I thought it all had a nice flow. Even Freedom was fun when the 2 "jumps" were actually maintained. Although the jumpline in Boulder Park is huge, the risk isn't worth the reward for me to hit the jumps. (I'm a pussy) Also, I didn't like the mini park they built on Bunny Schuss because the "jumps" sucked. I loved sessioning between Love and Freedom when the jumps were maintained in both parks and is the whole reason I bought my season pass and kept going back. Do you think anything can be done to get JFBB to open Love back up? Edited March 29, 2008 by TT C6 Quote
