poconoceancity
Today would have been a great day to hit Blue, looks like Camelback again. I wonder if this is going to be the new trend. We will see if they open late next year?

Kyle
blue really dropped the ball this year. its sad when bear creek ( no offense to all you creek people out there) almost outlasts you. and bear even had a hikeable park open. i'm gonna have to say i'm a little disappointed in blue
moe ghoul
Saw at least 7-8 Blue employees in their blue spyder jackets skiin at CB today. Funny story is, some of em thought they were gonna get a free CB ticket with their Blue season pass, but had to pay $20 because as employees they get a free season pass at blue. Pretty lame thinking it was free, lol.
RidgeRacer
Driving SB on Rte 115 today coming from Wilkes Barre, I saw JF in the distance and it was totally snow covered. I was a tad annoyed.

I know what it's about...just not looking at it from a business POV; and driving southbound on Rte 115 you can see JF for a brief stretch near the Stoddartsville area, just before the Monroe Co. line. In the summer it's harder to make out because of the trees in full bloom. In the winter though it's real easy to see. There's also a state park in Luzerne or Lackawanna Co. (the name of which is escaping me right now) with an overlook that offers views of Jack Frost and Elk Mt. Positive chief dude those are 70 miles apartsure you dont mean JF and BB? I'm definitely not making it up... From the book "Pennsylvania Overlooks...A guide for Sightseers and Outdoor People" by Art Michaels, Published by Penn State Press.... Lackawanna State Forest Pine Hill Vista "The State forest's Pine Hill Vista is unique: on this hilltop, an observation deck stands about 25 feet above the ground....The hilltop elevation is about 2,265 feet above sea level. On the clearest days, you can see landmarks more than 25 miles away. The Delaware Water Gap is visible to the east some 35 miles away. To the North Elk Mountain, in Southeast Susquehanna County, is also visible about 35 miles away. Jack Frost Mountain can be seen 8 miles to the South. Bear Lake, also to the South, is visible 2 miles away." Schif
Thats a great place to go. I've never been up there in the winter to look at the mountains, but It sure is fun in the summer. Its fun at night too, when you can see all the lights of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
