Melissa
I have to say, I was impressed by the slush plunge. Honestly, I don't know how some of those kids hone their technique, but they were great! BTW, Project Get Skinny will be kicking into high gear so I can win the bikini race next year. Closing day was fun, and I wish I could have spent more time skiing this weekend. Oh, for the record, I did ski White Lightning TWICE! I would have skiied it more, but one of the friends who I was with couldn't go down it, and I didn't want her to be stuck doing Cannonball by herself for too long. I did not fall. The first time that I went down, I just went down slowly and kind of traversed back and forth, stopping occasionally. It was steep, but not hard. The second time that I went down, I started off traversing, but toward the end of the run, I skiied down like a "normal person."

By the end of next season, you'll be yawning going down Lightning......
BCBSNOBBSkier
Were there any moguls left anywhere this late into the season? Edited April 1, 2008 by BCBSNOBBSkier
Melissa
Were there any moguls left anywhere this late into the season? No, thankfully for me! I have no idea how to ski moguls, but I plan to learn next season.
Melissa
Ski, did you (or anyone else that was there) notice the Tawny Kitaen wanna-bes in front of the speakers? I was getting a kick out of them singing along and dancing to the 80s hair-band music in their mommy jeans. I hope someone shoots me if I turn out like them. After pond skimming, we just headed down to the NF. The snow was so slushy and thick on Lower Fast Track that I jokingly offered Ty $10 each time she made it down without crashing...to which she took the deal and refused to ski anywhere else until closing. One cool moment was when a boarder came ripping past us on the headwall and then got in the slush on the left side and went head first into the mud. Oh, and yes, I'll shoot you. No problem, Hon. Were there any moguls left anywhere this late into the season? Actually, there was still a bump line down skiers right on Boomer. You could only see it from the lift, especially with the weird ridge the groomers created. I didn't ski them, but some of my friends took a few runs down. I pretty much spent the whole day on Fast Track ... The two lift commute and hike were well worth it ... Awesome day.
