Ski Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 So it was 3 degrees, with a -25 degree windchill...and the first day of a very long and hopefully illustrious racing career began today... Quote
ThinkSnow Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Awesome! I have my nephew asking me when I'm going to take him (4 1/2). I'm thinking about next weekend. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 you're crazy ski999.... think she'll be better then your oldest? Quote
Ski Posted January 24, 2005 Author Report Posted January 24, 2005 Naw, just different. My oldest skied for fun until she was 11 or 12. She raced just because she's competitive and she's just as, if not more, intense about her running. I'm still trying to carve a turn as perfectly as my oldest...but it's just not happening. Quote
skifreak Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 BTW nice flames on the helmet lol. Quote
skigurl Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 thats soo cute...i have those same goggles Quote
Ski Posted January 24, 2005 Author Report Posted January 24, 2005 Flames on your helmet make you fast. Quote
skidude Posted January 24, 2005 Report Posted January 24, 2005 Is that why you have the orange helmet...Because you are so fast it is just burning up Quote
Ski Posted January 24, 2005 Author Report Posted January 24, 2005 Hmmm...no...it was the absolute cheapest helmet in the Reliableracing catalog. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted February 3, 2005 Report Posted February 3, 2005 ''' I thought she raced by herself? Nonetheless, nice skis, and nice ski patrol jacket Quote

Ski Posted February 3, 2005 Author Report Posted February 3, 2005 I thought she raced by herself? Nonetheless, nice skis, and nice ski patrol jacket <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She does. No leash. I'm just slipping the course (aka plowing out the ruts) for later racers (me included). The red jacket? People ask me for directions almost daily...always happy to help. But I won't tend to broken limbs. Quote
