Glenn Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 (edited) JL covered most of the bases. He's a super great guy, a ripper in spite of broken gear and some nagging injuries. He has the touring end of skiing pretty dialed too. The guy just gets after it. Couldn't have asked for anyone better to show me around Mt. Washington on my first trip. Anyways here are a few pictures I took. More than half of mine look identical to JL's, so I'll avoid the repeats. Standing at the top of Hillman's looking at the white mountains. Just before the snow got aweful we climbed over some rocks. This is JL picking his way through some unfriendly terrain in his ultra-light compatible ski boots. JL contemplating how to best attack dodges without top buckles on one of his ski boots. I included this to show the pitch a little. JL making it look easy and approaching the pinch with confidence.
