zaldon Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I was riding the walls at cameback yesterday and got a twig jammed into the base of my board, but didn?t notice until I stopped riding. So once I got home I tried to pull out the twig, but it was in to far to grab it so I had to operate on my board with a knife to get the twig out. I then filled the hole with ptex and waxed my board. skidude Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I still have a hard time seeing how a twig got stuck in your board... I mean I could maybe see a piece of gravel or something...but a twig seems like it would break... Quote
Glenn Posted January 25, 2005 Report Posted January 25, 2005 I think it did break. They way he described it to me, it sounded like the way a splinter gets under your skin. Just imagine the splinter is not just tiny piece of wood, but a twig instead. Wouldn't surprise me if the twig found an existing gouge from rocks though, and just wedged itself in there. He was riding walls that weren't packed. Quote
