k2wwwkid Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) Look on their web cam its all filled in Thank god bears pipe sucked they did one cut on it then the walls would curve out cuz of newbs that dont go all the way to the top but i do give bear props for trying to put that thing in front of it but it just wasnt happening Edited June 8, 2008 by k2wwwkid Quote
snowboarddude Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 i would be alot more thrilled if they decided to actually keep a decent pipe instead they tried that this year... and we all know what happened 1 rough cut 0 good cuts 1 week of being well built just not the right weather around here Quote
train36 Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 I didn't like the pipe at BC at all. I am glad they are getting rid of it . There is plenty of room there to put in a bunch of new features. Quote
EAZY-Emuntz Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 ... now its time to take out the old wallride Quote
k2rider2690 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 I agree get rid of that old piece of shit wall...I mean what is even the poi t in keeping it? It wasn't set up at all this year anyways. Plus now that the pipe is gone they could continue the three set jump line down through where the pipe used to be. Quote
burton71 Posted June 11, 2008 Report Posted June 11, 2008 Would have loved to have them keep the pipe and make it good, but the weather just doesn't play nice. Oh well hopefully Sno will build that monster pipe again! Quote
k2rider2690 Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 anyone else notice that they flattend out the tubing jump line??? Quote
rgrwilco Posted June 12, 2008 Report Posted June 12, 2008 anyone else notice that they flattend out the tubing jump line??? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Quote

snowboarddude Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 (edited) i hope that they add lighting to the halfpipe park because it doesn't look like it will be very bright and also it would probly be a good idea to put a few new snow guns in there also Edited June 16, 2008 by Mini Zep Quote

snowboarddude Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 yeah but that was about 3/4 through the season... i guess it depends on more if they want it to be a jib garden or a jump line but i think it would be a good idea just to add like 3 tower guns or atleast water hook ups so they don't only have 3 guns for that whole area Quote
mollyskeez Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 Fenced off jibpark please :] unless it was permanent the fence would be down every five seconds from people trying to jump over it. Quote
snowboarddude Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) unless it was permanent the fence would be down every five seconds from people trying to jump over it. ahha all those little kids thinking they are bamf by jumping over it... oo wait i have done that before but yeah i agree a permanent fence would probly be the best idea because there will be alot of cross traffic if there isn't a fence there bear creek, i hate to tell you but your little tree line won't work just put up a fence that is the best idea Edited June 18, 2008 by Mini Zep Quote

EAZY-Emuntz Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 If they got a jib garden and a little tow rope (possibly) and kept up and maintained one of those yellow pinnacle sports fence things or got a little bit bigger trees than on black bear and planted them there it would be money Quote
burton71 Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Seems like it might be possible to put up a fence and park pass cascade and leave bb open to everyone. Quote
rgrwilco Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 the permanent fence might be hard to groom around. some sorta jersey barriers would be good. Quote
snowboarddude Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 (edited) i have a great idea for a wall how bout a 15 ft tall reinforced brick wall with barbed wire runing along the top and a moat on each side. to finish it off i would put a 2 people with machine guns at the entrance so nubs won't ruin our jib garden another plus to this idea is that the moat would offer a all year pond skimming Edited June 20, 2008 by Mini Zep Quote
Saurus Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 A permanent fence would barely effect grooming Quote
