Long Runs = Massive Goodness.

The old Montage trail maps used to have trail length but and I remember that a top to bottom run on the far left side..looking up is about 1.5 miles long and the average run at Sno is about 3,000 feet long. I feel like the runs at Sno are about the same length as at Elk and longer than Camelback..

13 miles...now there's an endurance test.

That's one of the reasons I like Jackson Hole so much. I think the longest run I've skied is a 7-mile long run at Whistler-Blackcomb..there is apparently a run somewhere in the Alps that is 13 miles long..

13.7 miles..It would probably take 40 minutes to ski at a moderate pace..

There are far far longer in the alps, there not named trails but rather pretty well known routes. The Haute route for example takes about 7 days on skis though it isn't all downhill. I can't imagine what 13 or 20 miles would feel like let alone 80.
