millerm277 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 (edited) From the Hunterblog....this morning at Hunter... By the way, the trail in the first image has had guns on it for a bit less than a day. Edited November 18, 2008 by millerm277 Quote
method9455 Posted November 18, 2008 Report Posted November 18, 2008 Hunter still has the power house of snowmaking on the east coast. A lot of places south have similar density of guns but shorter weather windows. Up north they have less guns but longer windows. Hunter has the firepower density of a Pocono resort, with the weather of southern vermont, and uses it to the fullest. Quote
millerm277 Posted November 18, 2008 Author Report Posted November 18, 2008 Looking like they're lit up T2B now. I'd expect they'll branch out tomorrow or thursday onto additional trails once the mainline has a good base... Quote
millerm277 Posted November 19, 2008 Author Report Posted November 19, 2008 (edited) From the blog... You've all been very patient, and we've got some info about opening on Saturday...thanks to our massive snowmaking efforts, our base is already 0-48"+! $39 lift tickets for adults...we'll be announcing junior/young adult tickets soon! We'll be opening these trails for sure: Hellgate Broadway Kennedy Belt Parkway These are also strong possibilities: Park Ave (w/ new guns) Hunter One (1-2 trails) Minya Mossy We're hoping to have B, C and Quad open if all of the above trails are open! We're also planning to stay open mid-week, so for those of you who can't make it this weekend, there will be plenty of snow leftover and snowmaking will continue! Keep checking back! And of course... http://www.huntermtn.com/huntermtn/SiteBas...6.jpg&w=500 Edited November 19, 2008 by millerm277 Quote
