mollyskeez Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 the palmer was starting to get a lil seesaw going on Saturday night also. Quote
burton71 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 yeah especially the way the first box rocks back and forth. so sick. the hip was way better. It was in solid on Sunday. Quote
boardin_nerd Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I dont like the double C. i didn't see a single person hit it. they gotta move it closer to the ground.. I love the jump line in cascade.. and then the tubing jumps.. its so much fun! Quote
JibHonk Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 they cant move it closer to the wrong of else your board will hang up on the snow Quote
boardin_nerd Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 oh ya... didn't really think about that... :-\ Quote
lilmill Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 what are conditions like up there right now. I was planning on heading up friday morning but i dont know if its even worth it anymore. Quote
boardin_nerd Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 idk wat the weather is doing today and tomorrow... but its awesome! great slushy slush.. boarding in a long sleeve T. soft snow. Lips still holding up pretty well so far.. Although rail landings got cut out alot during the night... The jumps are primee Quote
mollyskeez Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 the double c just needs to not have such a RADICAL angle on the c part. Quote
Saurus Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 word, that thing is sooooo sketchy. Â We need some new stuff in the halfpipe area now. And its time to put in some of the stuff that hasnt made an appearance. Â Oh and the picnic table would be sick if it was setup so you had to jump a foot or so to get on to the top of it. Watch the old nomis camp of champs video for a ref. Quote
JibHonk Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 its raining here in macungie as i type so friday is not looking good...:sad Quote
snowboarddude Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 (edited) to bottom is sick... but it has been the same since december i think its time for a little change  maybe a corrigated pipe, 7 ft jump with a bonk in the middle, mellow flow to flow, urban double wide, bleacher, just a flat flow box, big butter box on a sideangle like this \ only not that steep  just some ideas i got bored Edited February 12, 2009 by sanchezzz Quote

mollyskeez Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 flat boxes are cool and everything but pretty much everyone that goes through the park can hit them so they get huge bomb holes which are not very friendly to landing switch. Quote

boardin_nerd Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 flat boxes are cool and everything but pretty much everyone that goes through the park can hit them so they get huge bomb holes which are not very friendly to landing switch. ya.. Youre right on that one Quote
EAZY-Emuntz Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 just got back from a short sesh. The snow did not seem like they made snow last night. it was too soft all the landings kinda sucked even though the ramps and lips were nice. Hopefully its better later on this weekend. Although snowboarding with the flu made it ten times worse Quote
bermbuster49 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 yeah as for the commentary on the double C.... i feel we need a legit C box. Camelback has the same "planet" rails we had that we turned into the double C and they had them together for a 40+ foot C which was probably the most fun rail i've hit all year. and now i'm told they have it turned into a 40' S box which i bet is fun too. Â either way for next year i dont think the superman C box will do haha. Quote
mollyskeez Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 yeah i agree if we can get a legit c box next year with bciw quality coping, strength, and plastic that would be rad. Quote
Tyler Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 id rather have a mellow battleship, that double wide rail style battleship would be sick Quote
mollyskeez Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 (edited) id rather have a mellow battleship, that double wide rail style battleship would be sick that would be sick. id like both. please. Â oh and today the conditions were legit. lil grainy and hard in the morning but turned out to be super sick conditions. im loving the first jump in cascade its built perfect all the jumps should be modeled after that one. up palmer rail is super sick also. that thing SENDS you. Saurus Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 at around 9 that up rail sent into an awesome fall where it now looks like i have 2 knee caps on one knee. That thing felt like it had glue on it in the morning Quote
JibHonk Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Thought u were knee pads?? How do u get another knee with pads Quote
Saurus Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 The impact pushed it down from my knee. Haha and how did you know I wear knee pads Quote
JibHonk Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 I remember there was a thread about asspads and u mentioned it and then I said yah knee pads are boss Quote
