RidgeRacer Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Just back from an really nice night session at BB. The snow was ridiculously good tonight....maybe some of the best night conditions I can remember skiing in a long time. Weather was perfect...about 35 degrees when I got there. I made my first run down Mittl-weg. The snow was a fast packed powder surface. I then hit the Boulder Park trail for some wide GS turns. Then over to Bunny's elbow / Schuss which had a bit of ice...the headwalls at the bottom are always fun though. The place was pretty empty which meant I had Boulder Park and Mittl-Weg all to myself at times...Overall a really nice night skiing session at Big Boulder and only about 14 hours until Jack Frost tomorrow morning! stevePSSC Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 i got there yesterday around 1:30 and i thought it would be extremely crowded for how nice out it was, but when we pulled in the lot looked like it was a weekday. Pretty much rode crowd free all day and even ran into a few pasr's... Overall like you said the conditions were amazing and they stayed amazing all night long.. and the weather was great. Quote
