train36 Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 Not much too say besides it was a great powder day at Elk. The roads were horrible and it took me forever to get there and back. I got there around 1030 and have to leave at 130 so I would make it back in time for my work xmas party. It didn't feel like I was in PA yesterday, it was weird. My Camry did pretty good in the snow with my new tires but those conditions made me want to have a Subie. Its been in the back of my mind to get a new car for a while now , maybe I will. Even on a Powder Day Day with the roads a mess the Gapers were out. This guy had straight skis and jeans on. RidgeRacer Posted December 20, 2008 Report Share Posted December 20, 2008 Nice pics....I remember leaving Elk during a storm and a truck came flying past on the opposite lane on 374 and sent a ton of snow onto my side which I slid on and ended up in a ditch for an hour or so before a tow truck came to pull me out.
