phillycore Posted January 1, 2009 Author Report Posted January 1, 2009 Pics definitely are NOT up to ridge racer quality by any means, but it was cold and all I had on me was my blackberry... One of these days I'll get me a pocket size digital camera for pics.... my digicam is way too big to be carrying around the mountain with. I like to have the least amount of crap on me as it is... I think you can get the idea though... it wasn't the best conditions there, but I'd bet it's better there than a lot of other places in Pa right about now.. Hey does anyone know what Ski Mountain it is that you can see drivers left on the NE extension headed southbound around mile marker 81 or so? Just curious... never noticed it was there before today....lol Quote

Not sure on the mile marker, but if you were going to JF, then you definetly passed it. Quote

I actually thought it might be Blue but it looked like it was too close to me for some reason.. Quote

I've seen that before and always thought it was Blue. From the pics, it looks windy / wind blown. Edited January 1, 2009 by bigdaddyk Quote

I don't ski with a good camera anymore since I lost one at Killington when I took a tumble on the spring bumps on Highline. If I lose another camera while skiing my wife will lose it And yeah I think the ski area you see when driving southbound on 476 is Blue. At night it's lit up in orange. Quote
phillycore Posted January 2, 2009 Author Report Posted January 2, 2009 yes it was definitely windy.... and COLD RR - your phone must have a better camera in it than my blackberry... I still want to pick up a $80-$100 digicam though to take ski pics with.. Just haven't found anything that I liked within that price range that's thin as hell with big easy to hit buttons that I don't need to take glove liners off for.... side note... anyone else see that north face is putting out new glove liners with really thin thumb and index fingers for texting, camera's, phone's, etc.. and they added a rubber grippy palm to them so you won't drop your electronics with them on too.. I dunno how much they cost or anything just saw it on the news..... looked good though Quote
