Just back from a fun session at JF. I got to the Mt. a little after 10. The temp was approx. 14 degrees with lots of sun. I got my ticket and headed for Thunderbolt. The snow was packed powder / frozen cord pretty much everywhere that wasn't getting snow blown on it. It wasn't too crowded. I was either skiing right onto the chair or behind 2 or 3 people. After T Bolt, I headed to River Shot and did a few laps there. I was hoping to ski Floyds today but they were blowing snow like crazy on it thus it was still closed. It should be good for tomorrow with the amount of snow that's on it, hopefully they let it bump up like last year.

Anywhere off the trail was a hockey rink. Exhibition had an ungroomed sign at the top of the trail. It was easily the run of the day. They were blowing snow on it which made for lots of chalky ungroomed man made powder. Definitely a fun day. Happy New Year everyone.

Edit....Sorry Phillycore I didn't see your report. I would have posted this in your thread.

Oh man.... probably the first time we were both there at the same time....

I agree on Exhibition being the best run of the day outside of the guns making it very cold with the temps..

I did see one guy jump off a chair today one chair in front of me on the east mtn lift. I think the seat bottom flipped on him or something...

It was strange but he didn't fall or anything like that, pulled it off quite nicely actually. I'm pretty sure he went to sit down and the seat wasn't down

which made him jump off, or ski off I guess..

Other than that nothing exciting, just another cold fun filled day at JF

(Love park trees were nice...)
