Sno Mountain Not Blowing Snow When They Should Be

Does anyone know why snow is not making snow at any chance they can? Other resorts inthe area are 100% open with full coverage. I just went on the sno mtn webcam and saw that they are not blowing where the big terrain park should be located. In order to get that area ready to build three descent sized jumps and a variety of rails, they should be blowing the hell out of the slope. They are definately slacking hard core and im just wondering why. They need to turn things around big time or im going somewhere else next year for sure. I am almost tempted to go in an tell them i want a refund due to their lack of installing new lights, not blowing when they should be and shitty rail / feature setups. Anyways, i sound like a bitch, but all my complaints are legit im just curious if anyone has any answers other than sno mountain is hurting for money at this point?

They're not blowing snow this morning because altho the temperature is below freezing, there are other weather factors that have to be considered, such as humidity. If there's high humidity, the temperature must be way below freezing for the water mist to freeze over. As of 9:00 AM, the temperature on 81 North was 30

they have been blowing upper runawway/fasttrack, and lower fasttrack and rattler...They are probably trying to get them open before they start the park. More day trippers and such will ride trails than park. I think that they will be able to get everything open by the weekend. I'm a little frustrated too but they have been workin hard it looks.

sjb, first of all, you can't see the park from the live cam, they weren't blowing on the parks anyway, they are setting up new lights, they are making a shit load of snow and you do sound like a bitch who doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to what the state of sno is and shouldn't be lecturing a mountain how to run there business. Yea, and there's no contact when you buy your pass that they have to have 3 big jumps and a variety of rails, so go ahead ask for the refund because I'm sure they would laugh in your face. Your complaints are not legit because we have already gone over several of these points in other threads, like the lights for example. There is no evidence that sno is hurting for money, there just un organized and trying to do too many things at once*

 

so what other mountains are 100% open?

 

That last rain storm hurt pretty much every mountain around...
