RidgeRacer Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) Conditions weren't too bad tonight given the freezing rain. I got to the hill a little after 7. The snow seemed like it was a nice packed powder earlier in the day but it was a bit glazed over due to the sleet, everything was easily carvable though. I started on Draufganger and and then moved over to Snowdrift and the tree part up top. After a few runs on Snowdrift I hit Bunny's Elbow then over to Mittl-Weg and back to Drauf. The top entrance to Boulder park and Love park were closed. I had to keep scraping ice off of my goggles but it was nothing too bad. When I left my car was covered in ice and the roads were slick so be careful out there. Overall it wasn't a bad night at Boulder. Edited January 7, 2009 by PA Ridge Racer Quote

bigdaddyk Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 (edited) I checked the JF cam and saw it snowing, so I packed to go to BB (4:30pm). I couldn't really see anything on BB's cams. Went outside and it was raining already where I live, so I unpacked. Glad I didn't go. Edited January 8, 2009 by bigdaddyk Quote
bigdaddyk Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Damn washing machine went out and I was waiting for the repair man, or else I would have went to JF. They need to groom out the bumps on exhibition, though . The left side is the most consistant and the bumps ruin it. The right side of Floyd's is the best place for the bumps. Quote
