TT C6
2 friends from NYC just called invited me to go with them for a short trip 1/14-1/15. I've never been to Hunter and hear the crowds are horrible. Can you all give me the rundown on the mountain, conditions, jumps, hotels, nightlife, etc? Thanks in advance. Sorry. I guess I should have posted this in the "Hunter Section". But, maybe I'll get more info here. Regardless, my mistake.
n0xidee
I have only been there once and it was early season last year so don't know too much. You should be fine with crowds because its not a holiday and its mid week. Weekends there I hear are almost unbearable. They had some nice bump runs and I really liked the back side of the mountain. I dunno if it is back side but its like far right if your looking up the mountain and kinda on the side, not facing the lodge. Can't describe terrain park cause it was not open. I know this wasn't that helpful but GSS or Atomic I think have been there a number of times and can help you more. I also stayed at a friends boss's house so I can't help with lodging. Papasteeze
I was there last march.. if you are going mid week you will have fun, plenty of vert, fast lift. the park is average, however I have no idea of what is there now. it was hard to find a bar there, we ended up at some locals place.. Max
Right now the park is setup pretty nice. Both Park trails are open. Not hard to avoid the crowds there. Great mountain.

moe ghoul
Been there a few times but overnite only once. We stayed at Scribner Hollow, nice rooms, restaurant, indoor pool/sauna setup, near the mountain. They have a website.
