HouseMuzik Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Could it be? Could we actually get a few inches of accumulating snow south of I-80 for once, without ice? looks pretty good. This stuff is like baby powder too.. Quote
Melissa Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Well, I'm not south of 80, but I just woke up and looked outside and the streets are covered and it's snowing. Quote

Robert2 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just woke up and there's at least 4-6 inches of snow on the ground which I now have to shovel so my wife can get out I salted my sidewalk and steps at 10PM last night and it worked great. No shoveling for me here today. Quote
toast21602 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 about 3" here at my house near Blue. Quote
Schif Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just slowed down now, but was coming pretty hard. I think we're supposed to get a little bit more though. Quote

toast21602 Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 we got about 1/2 inch since the start of the game. roads are covered again. Quote
AngryHugo Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Just walked the dogs after the game, and we have a nice dusting in East Falls Quote
HouseMuzik Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 dusting here in AC area Looks like some more fresh stuff this afternoon! looks good for an new inch for Spring, BC, and Blue in the least... Quote
HouseMuzik Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 The Weather channel said 1.7 inches so far for Downingtown..any good ski areas down that way?? Apres Ski at Victory.. The snow that's falling now is really wet snow..tonight it's going to get into the teens so everything will freeze solid..the start of perhaps a Pocono glacier..lol.. Harder to melt away ... it was coming down hard around 3:45-4:00.. looks like we may have picked up another half inch or so.. thats a lot more than the coating the weather service was predicting.. Quote
HouseMuzik Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 27 degrees and light to moderate snow here..big fat flakes..woo hoo.. 2" total from today with about 3"-4" total on the ground here in Reading. This is the first time all winter where the grass has been completely covered in snow. I'm lovin it! Waiting a little bit longer for them to salt then i'm up to bear creek.. I got summer tires on my car so even a little snow sucks.. but the road is always heavily salted (i was told once bear creek pays longswamp twp extra money to keep that road salted more frequently).. so i'm not worried.. poconoceancity Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 6 inches in Lake Harmony as of this morning. about 1/4 in the OC. Quote
