Mixilplix Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 come out from your hole dude. Blue is going green, so they are trying to reduce the use of paper by not having coupons. Nah .....there just cheap sons a bitches. Quote

Justo8484 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 The ONLY way I'd do one day at Blue is a free or discounted lift ticket. blue's not good enough to pay to ride there? Quote
toast21602 Posted January 26, 2009 Author Report Posted January 26, 2009 blue's not good enough to pay to ride there? who knows. Blue is off the chain right now. Quote
TT C6 Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 who knows. Blue is off the chain right now. I've been hearing that from a few different people lately. I look forward to checking it out. But, I bought a season pass at another mountain because of the longer season and better conditions, so I am selective about where I buy day passes. I'm not paying top dollar to check out Blue after the bad conditions I have personally experieced there. But, I DO want to check out the current park setup. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 But, I DO want to check out the current park setup. Then you're going to have to pay Quote
sexkitten Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 If we could get 15 people together I would do the leg work for the group rate. Quote
Mixilplix Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I'll be there.Haven't been to Blue in awhile. Quote
toast21602 Posted January 27, 2009 Author Report Posted January 27, 2009 i'm pretty stoked for this and to meet some new faces. Quote

SK, I'll let you know tomorrow if I am def. in for this (need to check work calendar). Regardless, Buckmans offers discount tickets, so that is always a good option! Quote
TT C6 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Then you're going to have to pay Nope. Blue is NOT worth their retail prices. I will NOT pay it. If there is a deal available, I MIGHT come. If not, I'll keep riding the best parks in PA every weekend. Quote

toast21602 Posted January 27, 2009 Author Report Posted January 27, 2009 is boulder really worth it to hit 3 mediocre jumps on widow? Blue's jumps and park are worth it. the length alone is worth it. where else in PA can you get over a mile of freestyle terrain in one run alone accessed by a high-speed lift? not boulder. not to mention, Blue's parks are on point right now. can't wait to get up there tomorrow morning for some fresh jumps and rails. Quote
TT C6 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 (edited) Blue's jumps and park are worth it. the length alone is worth it. where else in PA can you get over a mile of freestyle terrain in one run alone accessed by a high-speed lift? not boulder. not to mention, Blue's parks are on point right now. can't wait to get up there tomorrow morning for some fresh jumps and rails. I hope you're right, man. I want to believe. But, my memories of Blue are bombed out landings and ice. Also, I prefer a straight trail for a terrain park and I thought the features were too close together last year. If I can find some discount tickets, I will come check Blue out for myslef. is boulder really worth it to hit 3 mediocre jumps on widow? It is for me. But, you know Boulder has a lot more to offer than the 3 jumps on LOVE. Edited January 27, 2009 by TT C6 Quote
Dan- Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Well considering there is only 3 jumps now instead of 4, there is plenty of space. And icy.. You act as if Boulder never gets icy. Which is far from the truth. I'll be in Utah anyway. Have fun. Quote
moe ghoul Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I'm out. We're heading for Jay for 4-5 days next week into the weekend, which should mean a good snowfall when we get there. Quote
