I've slacked off over the last week and haven't been able to get out of bed, so I was destined to get out today, since I am off of work. Figures, over the last couple days I hatched another head cold and can't quit sneezing. Anyway, I slept in again and forced myself to go to BB. I didn't bother to check the forecast, but I ran into some light snow on the way. Probably a little after 3:30, it really started coming down and snowed pretty good for the rest of my night. I forced out 30 runs, mostly between Draufganger, boulder park, and Mittl-weg. The place was deserted. I was really surprised to see nobody on BB park, since everybody complains about wanting soft landings, and tonight was the night for them. My head started bothering me, so I bolted. On a side note, my last run up the lift, some guy tucked and straightlined one of the jumps on BB park. I could tell that he didn't seem to know what he was doing. As expected, he went off of the jump and landed on the front end of his skis and almost planted face first into the snow. I saw his buddy go down to check on him, so I don't know what came out of it. The snow was amazing...not dry, but definately not cement. I wanted to hang around longer, but I want to get back out again on Tuesday.

well if it was liek it was today, you cant hit the jumps on boulder because they leave the trail ungroomed. so your "soft landings" are gonan be hard knuckle cuase you cant get speed for it. boulder needs to realize for a mostly park hill they need to groom their parks daily. leave the other stuff ungroomed if they want
