NJSkiFamily
Fabulous news.....well done to both. I have a bad mental image of high speeds, soft snow and RUTS. That clear bright sunshine on Saturday probably didn't help matters. That was a great story about how Elk didn't have enough gates and needed to borrow some from cb. Nice to hear the different mountains supporting one another.
Margaritaville Skier
I generally warn grown ups not to try to keep up with Skidude. The last friend of mine who tried to do this ended up kissing a tree. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The pain of kissing a tree would be nothing compared to that 18 hr drive home with your tail between your legs and your ego shattered. That's why I bailed. I may be older, but not stupid. Luckily, I got tied up and couldn't make the run even though the dude kept saying lets go. There's always next year!!
