It's what is called an inversion when the cold air (and the accompanying clouds/fog) slides down into the valley and the warmer air is at higher elevations. Usually it'll be totally clear on the mountain on those days, but occasionally it's more like a "parfait" where you descend into clouds, out of them, then back into them again. It's nice because the people from out of town who stay in town think it's a miserable day up on the mountain and they decide not to ski, while we're up there soaking up the rays.

Movie from riding the chair today. Don't know what's with the pink, it happens sometimes and not others....
