C1erArt Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Took my helmet cam out Friday, 3/6 (day of the WNMR cardboard sled race). Still working on helmet position (got up and down fairly close, but its tilted a little). Some static in the sound, but the sound is pretty useless anyway with wind noise. Runs of Challenge, Floyds and back to Challenge. Last couple of runs got crowded around 11:30, so I packed it in. Used the Oregon Sci cam, which is a little low end, but easy to use. Actually its a nice way to work on your ski technique in keeping your upper body still and pointed down the fall line. I was carving each run, and there is some side to side movement I need to work on eliminating. The best part is my wife purchased it for me, so she can't complain when I use it to film her skiing. Robert2 Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Nothing wrong with making movies. I'd like to see more full trail movies....of the black diamonds where I don't ride. Quote
