DiMe Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) Today was incredible, I pulled up to the Stevenson at 3pm relaxed and stretched while I drank 2 Yuenglings grabbed my butter board and walked down the hill to the lift at 3:15. Took a run down the nile to warm up and it was nice and soft granular not very bumped or choppy because theres barely anyone out there. I lapped the jib line in the park about 4 times I kept getting hung up on the boxes because I didn't scrape and sand the little bit of epoxy that got on my edge and base after the repair ooops. I headed over to the Sullivan to lap the front 4. The hump was closed today but I made Big Pocono the 4th for today. They were AMAZING they were all soft granular over nice hardpack with barely any icy spots, super fast and you made waves with every carve. Today was the perfect temp after those cold nights the steeps were as good as they would be on a prime December morning for first tracks at 4pm today! The temperatures are going to start going up again tomarrow though it should still stay nice. I left at 5:50 after 18 runs. If you can make it out get out here especially you pass holders its #$%&*^@ FREE and well worth it! JADIP Edited March 24, 2009 by DiMeThIcOnE Quote
DiMe Posted March 25, 2009 Author Report Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) nice report!!!!! Why was the Hump closed??? That run always reminds me of the song My Humps.. I don't know, it's still covered they also had the birches closed and a couple other of the easier trails but no biggie. I think they're just trying to preserve some snow on some trails for the weekend?? Or they didnt have time to groom it. Edited March 25, 2009 by DiMeThIcOnE Quote
