girls.ride.harder Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 I have a certificate for a $50 board/ski tune but I`ve never even thought about getting my board tuned and dont plan on it =] Its up for grabs if anyone wants it since it has no use to me.. Quote
girls.ride.harder Posted September 11, 2009 Author Report Posted September 11, 2009 Did I mention you can have it for free.99 ? I just dont want it to go to waste Quote
RootDKJ Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 Ah...I'll pass, but thanks. If it was on mountain at Blue or CB, I'd take it off your hands, but I actually prefer to do my own tuning. Quote
lineskier18 Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 If I was still in PA I'd take it...not worth the drive from Stowe to get my skis tuned lol. Quote

mbike-ski Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 if noone claims it i'd take it - i work about a hundred yards from there and could use it for one of the kids skis or something Quote

Start simple. Two vices...$40 at Lowes (also very useful for other projects) Shitty table off Craigslist <$30 Iron from a thrift store $1.99 + tax Scraper $5.99 @ Racewax Then work on picking up some edge tools as you see them on sale. toast21602 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 i guess you are right... and my sister just got me a gift card to Lowes for my bday which would cover all of that. Quote

RootDKJ Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 What is the process and tools needed to refinish your base? Thatt's the one thing I'd let a shop do. You can buy the tools. Check out Racewax.com or Reliableracing.com, they have the tools needed. Quote
