how did you ride nastar without paying?  :confused

A lot of USSA race teams will jump onto the NASTAR course at some point in the day, without having official times recorded, since they aren't paying the $5. The CAT team at CB has always done it, as does Shawnee and Montage.

does anyone know why they haven't posted mastar times from sunday?

BC was having a problem w/ their computer. I've contacted Bear creek and NASTAR HQ about the problem. going to email nastar again, it's starting to make me mad

Montage is actully a low 20 second course...If you bring your X-country skis

This year's J3 race results on Switch at Montage. It's also a J4/5 race and set similar to NASTAR. Two more gates, but a similar offset. Did you do it in low 20's, 'Dude? ;)

Thanks '999, I was waiting for your rebuttle.

All I have to say that for an average joe, it's a 30+ second course. For 'dude? Maybe high 27's low 28's (on the day we ran it there), based on how I do compared to him at BC.

Oh, yeah, they sure wouldn't hold a PA Cup race on that slope. ASRA would even move down to one of the diamonds. All I'm saying is that it's a good J4/5 and NASTAR course, with a little more terrain than CB or Shawnee's NASTAR courses. I mean, could you imagine holding a USSA race on Raceway? Coaches would scoff.

Atleast raceway has a roller or 2 on it....Anyway all nastar is flat...Well all Nastar cept snowbasin...

Uhhhhh... Snowbasin was tough!!! Too much for me! Especially having to ski down 2000 ft of fresh lumpy powder to get to the start.

Me too. Accessing the Snowbasin course was like tackling a rodeo on the way to the start gate. Only those in the "expert division" made it to the start gate unscathed.

:yes:yes:yes:yes:yes

I started my day by trying to guess which way to go to catch up with everyone else only to take a forward front somersault into 3+ feet of powder.. I got the award for most times falling!! I'll blame it on the rented demo's.... :yes:yes

Any idea of why BC did not post our sunday results?

Well, have you emailed them (you want to do this before they close) and tell them the results still aren't posted? They may have uploaded them and had problems and not known it. That happened here once.

i've been trying and trying. Mark said he's submitted them to NASTAR (because of computer problems) and it's on NASTAR's shoulders now, so email them, as i keep doing, to keep the pressure on :)
