zaldon Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 i rode nastar the same day u did zaldon at cb, but ididnt pay, and i got a 26, like 2.5 seconds off the pasesetter, i shoul have payed <{POST_SNAPBACK}> how did you ride nastar without paying? Quote
Ski Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 how did you ride nastar without paying? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A lot of USSA race teams will jump onto the NASTAR course at some point in the day, without having official times recorded, since they aren't paying the $5. The CAT team at CB has always done it, as does Shawnee and Montage. Quote
VTmark Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 does anyone know why they haven't posted mastar times from sunday? Quote
AtomicSkier Posted March 25, 2005 Report Posted March 25, 2005 does anyone know why they haven't posted mastar times from sunday? BC was having a problem w/ their computer. I've contacted Bear creek and NASTAR HQ about the problem. going to email nastar again, it's starting to make me mad Quote
skidude Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 CB's NASTAR is a mid-20's course....so yea, it's longer. Montage is a high 20's course. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Montage is actully a low 20 second course...If you bring your X-country skis Quote
Ski Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Montage is actully a low 20 second course...If you bring your X-country skis <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This year's J3 race results on Switch at Montage. It's also a J4/5 race and set similar to NASTAR. Two more gates, but a similar offset. Did you do it in low 20's, 'Dude? 13 and 14 Men 1 388 E5941554 CASTELLANO, Tony MMST/91 32.44 30.70 1:03.14 Quote
AtomicSkier Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Thanks '999, I was waiting for your rebuttle. All I have to say that for an average joe, it's a 30+ second course. For 'dude? Maybe high 27's low 28's (on the day we ran it there), based on how I do compared to him at BC. Quote
skidude Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Ski...I do recall in a private message sent many months (err years) ago you told me to bring my xcountry skis to race...And I know you would want me on the fastest stuff out there Quote

ASRA would even move down to one of the diamonds. All I'm saying is that it's a good J4/5 and NASTAR course, with a little more terrain than CB or Shawnee's NASTAR courses. I mean, could you imagine holding a USSA race on Raceway? Coaches would scoff. Quote
skidude Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Atleast raceway has a roller or 2 on it....Anyway all nastar is flat...Well all Nastar cept snowbasin... Quote
Papasteeze Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 Atleast raceway has a roller or 2 on it....Anyway all nastar is flat...Well all Nastar cept snowbasin... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uhhhhh... Snowbasin was tough!!! Too much for me! Especially having to ski down 2000 ft of fresh lumpy powder to get to the start. Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Me too. Accessing the Snowbasin course was like tackling a rodeo on the way to the start gate. Only those in the "expert division" made it to the start gate unscathed. Quote

I got the award for most times falling!! I'll blame it on the rented demo's.... Quote
Papasteeze Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 Cool!! we should now have 15!! The top 15 scores of a team are used to establish a team ranking.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Any idea of why BC did not post our sunday results? Quote
sibhusky Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Any idea of why BC did not post our sunday results? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, have you emailed them (you want to do this before they close) and tell them the results still aren't posted? They may have uploaded them and had problems and not known it. That happened here once. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 i've been trying and trying. Mark said he's submitted them to NASTAR (because of computer problems) and it's on NASTAR's shoulders now, so email them, as i keep doing, to keep the pressure on Quote
Papasteeze Posted March 8, 2006 Author Report Posted March 8, 2006 Can't spell, sorry.. thought I would remention the PASR team. Quote
